The Prevention Network brings together professionals and activists from across Scotland working to prevent men’s violence against women to share expertise, information and good practice.

Side by Side: Three legged race. Help raise money for organisations working to prevent violence against women. As part of 16 Days of Action, White Ribbon Scotland, Scottish Women's Aid, Edinburgh Hollaback! Zero Tolerance and other partners to hold the first 'Side by Side' event in Scotland on Dec 3. More info and how to get involved here.

Rape Crisis Scotland is looking for feedback on the kind of evidence being used in sexual crime cases. If you have been a victim of a sexual crime and the case went to court they would like to hear from you. Fill in the survey here.

The Write to End Violence Against Women Awards shortlist announced. With the event happening Tuesday November 12th, the judging panel has shotlisted five nominees in each category. Read the articles here.

LGBT Student Network Project Recruitment. LGBT Student Network are currently looking for young people, under 25, who are NOT a current service user of LGBT Youth Scotland and who can spare a few hours each month to participate in a steering group for a peer research project. More information and how to get involved here.

Work for free until the end of the year? Maybe she will... The TUC says women are earning, on average, 15 per cent less than men which means Nov 7th - Equal Pay Day - is the last day the average woman will be paid for her labours compared to male colleagues.

Just one-third of stalking cases end in conviction. FEWER than one-third of the 1400 people reported for alleged stalking in Scotland have been convicted since the flagship legislation came into force three years ago. Read the full article here.
