Happy 1st year "adoption" day Sardine!

Dear Pet Lover,

Welcome to Scampers news for November and the big news for us is that, this week we celebrate Sardines one year adoption day, the four of us could not be happier!

For many of our pets this signals the start of a scary period with all the fireworks, if only they were just on the 5th! We have many natural products to help with noise sensitive dogs and cats so please pop in and chat to one of our team for advice on all our calming ranges.

Our holistic seminars with Dr Nick Thompson, supported by Hot Dogs Training and Natures Menu were a huge success and we're delighted to have also raised £500 for Phoenix French Bulldog Rescue. If you missed this year’s event don’t worry we will be announcing more dates in the New Year!

As part of our ongoing natural pet care commitment we are delighted to be welcoming two of our favourite companies back to Scampers. Raw complete dog and cat food brand Nutriment will be in store on the 25th & 26th November to talk about feeding raw pet foods. Also on the 26th, Alex from Diet Dog UK will be here sharing her expert knowledge of natural remedies and supplements….we love Diet Dog products!  For a full list of all our events in November, click here.

In association with Phoenix French Bulldog Rescue we are thrilled to be welcoming The Queen's Veterinary School Hospital, University of Cambridge who are bringing along their BOAS testing equipment to our training room so that your dog can have their breathing tested, for which you will receive a report and the results can be used in their study to understand the conditions further. To find out more about what this involves please go to www.vet.cam.ac.uk/boas/about-boas/recognition-diagnosis

Together with the above, Hayley Springett will be offering Veterinary Thermal Imaging to see if your dog may have any problem areas along their spine/hips that may benefit from greater analysis - this is a fabulous, non-invasive tool and although not diagnostic in its own right, it will give a fully explained report and then you can make decisions based on those findings. To see more about this please go to www.veterinary-thermal-imaging.com/

For full information about this BOAS and thermal imaging event on the 26th November at Scampers, please click here and make your appointment.

There are some incredible promotions in store this month including all Natures Menu raw complete and Country Hunter nuggets 10% off throughout November and December. Full details on our website.

Finally, a quick mention about “Christmas”….we are ready!

We look forward to seeing you and your beautiful pets in store soon,
Piers, Michelle, Rooster, Sardine and all the Scampers team!

Diet Dog Stress Relief for Cats & Dogs

“Last night we had a few fireworks go off around us. Norman suffers terribly this time of year. We took Norman for a walk before dark and then gave him a dose of the new Phyt' Stress Relief from Diet'DoG UK. He did not react all evening - no crying, no barking, no jumping on our heads, no running around the house, nothing, just normal Norman and relieved us.”  Michelle@Scampers.
