Sidney Williams at NACCHO health conference space

Why test for STIs?

space

If any of the following happened to you, would you get tested?

  • Unsafe sex;
  • Didn't use a condom, or condom broke;
  • Multiple sexual partners;
  • Started or ended a relationship; or
  • Shared injecting or tattooing needles?

In this edition we hear from Sidney Williams (pictured above), an outreach officer with the Goondirr Health Service, a community controlled health service providing primary health care and related health services to mob living in south-west Queensland.  Listen here as Sidney discusses the fertility implications of untreated STIs.
