Hail Hot Bottlers!

Value Vino is back!  Delighted to bring you more banging bottles at brilliant prices.

Chalk Valley English White 2018 (11.5%) down from £12 to £7 in Morrisons. A finely sliced apple dipped in precision! This is zesty stuff with a tropical tickle, a steal at the offer price of £7 from a stellar English vintage.

Sainsbury’s House Pinot Noir 2019 (12.5%) £4.50. Chill this supple Chilean red for half an hour and bang it out with pizzas. For under a fiver it’s a decent bet.

Tesco Finest Mosel Riesling 2018 (12%) down from £8.75 to £5.50 in Tesco. Poised between exotic and shrill, this piercing dynamo of a wine is the very essence of fruity refreshment. Stunning with spicy dishes from Jalfrezi to Tom Yum.

Chateau du Rouet Cote de Provence Rosé 2019 (13%) £8.50 50cl Co-op. In a slightly smaller bottle, this is the last of the summer rosé - crisp, scented and easily stashable for a lunchtime picnic.

Agricola Fuster Dardell Organic Red 2019 £8.99 Majestic. Violet scented red that glides from fruity to finesse and finally a gentle surge of structure from the tannin and texture. Cracking stuff for under a tenner and the perfect wine to raise a glass for Organic September 2020. And as there’s Garnacha in here, spot on for International Grenache Day this Friday… never has a wine made more sense in a single moment!
