We hope this message finds you safe and well. Given recent events in Manhattan's Chinatown, we're reaching out to assure you that the Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) will always be a place where community members of all backgrounds and beliefs are welcome.

For 60 years, when our community comes to us at their most vulnerable, they know our 50+ culturally and linguistically competent services will make them feel seen and understood. Because of you, our community can trust that their call for help will be answered by CPC. 

But our work isn't done in isolation; it succeeds when we come together. Please join us in answering the call for help and making sure our community members have the resources needed to reach their fullest potential. 

Especially now, when our community is being targeted and feeling uncertain, we are focused on expanding direct legal support, educating community members of their rights, and making sure our community feels safe.

• Provide legal services to individuals and families 
• Host workshops for community members to know their rights
• Share in-language materials on family safety plans and emergency preparation checklists
• Advocate for resources and services for our community

Since 1965, CPC has been providing knowledge, resources, and opportunities for community members to live with dignity, thrive in their neighborhood, and shape their own future.
