Smart Futures Celebrates #TechWeek

For the remainder of the school year, a free live #ThisIsSTEM Webinar will be available to all schools to give students the opportunity to discover what types of STEM careers are available and hear from people who work in STEM-related jobs in Ireland.

This month we are celebrating Tech Week with a Live Webinar featuring an industry expert along with additional interviews with people in Tech careers on our website, more information below. In May we will focus on how Maths can be a key to many STEM career doors!

There will also be a chance to win a pair of APPLE AIRPODS each month too!

#ThisIsSTEM Live Webinar Series

On Friday, April 23rd at 11 am we will be hosting a virtual career talk with Niamh Donnely. Niamh is co-founder and Director of AI and Machine Learning at Akara Robotics. Previously, she worked as Web Operations Engineer at Etsy and an AI engineer at the Krisolis. In 2018, Niamh received the honour of 'Best Student Application of AI', a national award that celebrates the most innovative artificial intelligence research done by students in Ireland.

Niamh looks forward to chatting with students and answering their questions to further their understanding of the industry.

The webinar will be streamed via YouTube.
