Hello there!

Sorry for the delay this week, guys! My travels and the launch of my newest issue (see below) have kept me busy. I'm really glad it's finally out and once I get all the shipping and logistics sorted next week, I'm looking forward to taking a short break in Portland – and attending XOXO. If you happen to be there too, come say hi!

I'm in NYC for one more day, catching up with magazine-related folks and having way too many pizza slices (my favourite food).

I'd love to see some of you order a copy of Offscreen. There's a small incentive below. Thanks for your support!

This Weekʼs Line-Up

Notes and reminders on a roll
01

Is your desktop covered in notes and reminders? The Notepaper Roll Holder by Blomus may be a way out of the chaos. Not sure whether I like writing on a metal surface, but the general idea behind this is as simple as it is ingenius.

An encrypted project management platform
02

Witkit is another project management tool in an already very crowded space. The app includes the features you'd expect such as instant messaging, calendar, file sharing, collaborative planning, etc. What sets them apart from their competitors is the emphasis on end-to-end encryption. If your projects require strong data security, check out Witkit.

A non-slip sticker for your phone
03

This idea is so simple there's probably a way to come up with your own solution. If you feel lazy though, do support their Kickstarter: Lil Grit is a simple rubbery sticker you attach to both sides of your phone to avoid it slipping out of your hands. That's it.

An app to improve your writing
04

Hemmingway claims that it makes your writing bolder and clearer. Amongst many other features "the app highlights long, complex sentences and common errors; if you see a yellow sentence, shorten or split it." It also highlights things like passive voice and adverbs that can be turned into verbs to make your writing more impactful. Might give this a try for my next blog post...

A throwable microphone
05

Ever been to a conference or meet-up and someone asks a question that 90% of the room can't hear? Catchbox has a solution: a big, cushiony cube with a built-in wireless microphone. Next time someone in your audience needs a mike, just throw'em a cube.

A Gmail add-on to schedule emails
06

Boomerang is one of the many Chrome extensions that enhances your Gmail experience. With Boomerang you can easily schedule emails to be sent at a certain time or let it reminded you of emails that need following up.
