New Victorian Government internship program

The Victorian Government is partnering with 13 education providers in Victoria, as well as industry associations to deliver 300 internships for international students to June 2015.

Internships will be available in private companies as well as government or public sector agencies.  International students will be able to access internship opportunities through the 13 education providers partnering with the Government in the first phase of this program.

We are also communicating with Victorian employers to build awareness of the benefits of engaging international students as interns, graduates or building business partnerships.  A recent Small Business Festival event focussed on building industry knowledge of how international students can help build export businesses.
