Young entrepreneurs playing to win

Two young entrepreneurs with a goal to make a positive difference to the lives of children have seen their fledgling business experience rapid growth in the space of just one year.

Founded and established in 2015 by Kipp Jones and Carly Fuda, Stay Active Children’s Sports Programs works with schools, vacation care, families and the community to deliver physical activity and sports programs to primary school aged children.

Having delivered over 60 programs in their first year of operation, the dynamic duo last month employed an additional 10 Children's Sports Facilitators, increasing the size of their team to 27 people.

Recent graduates and award winners of Business SA's South Australian Young Entrepreneur Scheme (SAYES), their passion for developing healthy habits among children from a young age to ensure they stay active throughout life is the driving force – and the key to success – of the business.

Whilst their current focus remains on South Australia, the organisation’s vision is to be the leading provider of physical activity and sports programs throughout Australia.

Nuclear Fuel Cycle
Royal Commission

Findings, discussion and way forward.

The Nuclear Fuel Cycle Royal Commission was established by the South Australian Government in March 2015 to undertake an independent and comprehensive investigation into the potential for increasing our participation in the nuclear fuel cycle.  The findings were delivered to the Governor last week.

The findings mark the beginning of a new series of conversations with the community that address their questions and concerns, and ultimately enable decisions to be made by the people of South Australia.

Join CEDA, together with BusinessSA and Committee for Adelaide as we begin the conversation.

Nuclear not just mining

The science and technology for safe storage of high-level nuclear waste is settled. The only way such storage will occur in South Australia is if there is widespread community support.
