According to Fraunhofer-ISE evaluations, more electricity was generated by photovoltaics and wind power in Germany during the month of July than ever before. At roughly 11.7 terawatt-hours of green energy, this sets a new record. In addition, for the first time PV systems produced as much electricity as all nuclear power plants in Germany.
