A New Venue for Cracking Ideas!

The Cracking Ideas team are pleased to announce the ‘Wallace and Gromit Present a World of Cracking Ideas’ exhibition will be opening at the Glasgow Science Centre in Scotland on the 2nd April 2010.

The exhibition, sponsored by the Intellectual Property Office in association with Aardman and SGA, is the first of its kind to be housed in the Glasgow Science Centre’s iconic building on the banks of the River Clyde and will run throughout the spring, summer and autumn until 30 November 2010.

So why not plan a trip to Glasgow, Scotland’s second city and part of the Scottish high-tech sector, take in the local sights and visit ‘Wallace and Gromit Present a World of Cracking Ideas’ for some innovation inspiration!

Alternatively, how about teasing your ‘inner-inventor’ by having a go at the national Cracking Ideas competition?   The closing date isn’t until 31st March so there’s still time to enter if you get your skates on!

Urge your mind to explore what Wallace and Gromit’s next business might be ... sticking with the Scottish theme maybe the resourceful duo could invent a haggis making machine, or perhaps a gadget designed to automatically play the bagpipes?

Whatever enterprise you decide Wallace and Gromit will get switched-on about, be sure to give some thought to how using trade marks, patents, designs and copyright would help them in their quest.  Enter the competition now »
