Workshop Weekend

In partnership with Maker Faire , Workshop Weekend is a two-day learning event, on the weekend following Maker Faire, May 28 - 29, organized by Learning U.

Maker Faire inspires people to make new things and learn new skills but Maker Faire is not the place for an an in-depth workshop. Workshop Weekend is a way for makers to follow up immediately on a new interest and begin to develop it.

If you have an interest in teaching a workshop in your workspace or studio, please consider offering a course as part of Workshop Weekend.  We also have limited teaching space available in Oakland and SF, if you need it, where you can hold workshops up to 4 hours in length.

So let us know what you want to teach and when you want to teach it, and we'll handle everything else: student sign-up, payment processing, and feedback after the event.

If you're interested in becoming part of Workshop Weekend, please send an email or register online:

email : teach@whatwillyoulearn.com

We'll be promoting Workshop Weekend heavily at Maker Faire as well as online before and after afterwards. Please register by Tuesday, May 17.
