Lifeblood is like many other organisations striving to innovate and continuing to deliver to Australians among these challenges and in a new environment. Our team has been busy in isolation putting together three exciting new online events for the remainder of the year. Transfusion Bootcamp, Blood, COVID-19 and Beyond, and Transfusion United 2020 Conference, will deliver a wide range of engaging topics and presenters to re-ignite your appetite for transfusion-related knowledge and education. Blood, COVID-19 and Beyond will be a 1-hour interactive learning activity based on reflections from the Australian transfusion community during a pandemic. It will present and reflect on blood/transfusion-related pandemic preparedness activities in Australia and share lessons learned from areas impacted by blood shortages. And in shaping this event, we want to hear about your learnings, wins and challenges during COVID-19. We would appreciate it if you would participate in a quick survey here so we can find out how COVID-19 affected you as a transfusion professional. We look forward to bringing you more information on these coming events in the next few months.
