But don’t forget to ease into it. Muscles can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks to show improvements in coordination and strength with the proper practice 3 times per week. Muscle size increases can take anywhere from 8-12 weeks to occur. Summer Tips & Tricks Want to gain a few yards on that golf swing? Lose a few seconds on that 5k, half marathon, or marathon time? Just feel better? Make sure to maintain a good strong core. Try adding in standard plank and side planks to begin with. 3 days per week. 3 rounds each. Find a good duration that makes you fatigued by the end of the 3rd round. Start by holding each for 15 seconds and add or subtract 5 seconds. Form is important! Did You Know?
