Don't be prostrate about your prostate

space

Fellas when it comes to your prostate, don't be too laid back about it.

The prostate is a walnut-sized gland located under the bladder and is part of the reproductive system. It produces a fluid that protects and nourishes sperm.

Like other organs in the body, the prostate can be affected by diseases like cancer.

In fact prostrate cancer is the the second most commonly diagnosed cancers in Australia, after melanomas.  It's also one of the leading causes of male cancer deaths.

So what are the risks associated with prostate cancer? Listen here or see track 11.
