Kindergarten eNews

We have enjoyed hearing from parents this week! Thank you to those who came to share what they do for their occupation. The children enjoy this so much. Our unit study next week will be moving on to butterflies! It’s time for a science lesson now.

  • Bible:  Stories about Elijah
  • Bible verse: Matt. 6:9-10, “Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.  Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”  We will be learning The Lord’s Prayer.
  • Reading: 3-letter S blends such as spl and spr.
  • Sight words:  Reviewing already learned sight words
  • Math:  Clocks; hour, half hour and introducing 15 past the hour, addition facts to 7, counting to 100 by 5s and 10s
  • Unit:  Butterflies
  • Show and Tell:  Bring something that changes but is not a butterfly.  Be prepared to tell us how it changes.
