Kindergarten eNews

What fun apple activities we have had this week!  We learned how apples grow on apple trees from a blossom and how bees help.  We also learned that apples float!  Not only that but apples taste good and are healthy for us. Next week we will talk about signs of Fall.  We will also discuss grandparents and how important they are to us.  We hope to see you all on Friday at Grandparents’ Day!  The program will be wonderful.  You don’t want to miss it.

Next Week

  • Show and Tell:  Bring a sign of Fall from nature
  • Bible:  Stories of Joseph
  • Bible Verse:  Isaiah 43:5  “Fear not; for I am with you.”
  • Reading:  We will learn the consonants Mm and Hh next week.  We continue to work on letter sounds, rhyming words and sight words.  Reading to your child nightly really helps with reading and comprehension skills.
  • Math:  Counting, patterns, shapes and reviewing skills
