Dengerink Administration Building elevator anticipated to be back in service today
The 30-day modernization of the elevator in the Dengerink Administration Building has been completed. The final step before restoring the elevator to service is a final inspection scheduled for today. Assuming the maintenance checks out, the elevator will be back in service this afternoon. Thank you for your patience during this very important maintenance project.
The next elevator scheduled for modernization is in the Library Building. The project will begin Oct. 20 and is scheduled to complete on Nov. 26. Please remember to plan early for access accommodations. Do remember the Writing Center is on the second floor of the Library Building. Students and others may call the Writing Center at 6-9650 at least a half hour before an appointment to move the meeting to a quiet room in the library.
As an aside, the elevator in the Engineering and Computer Science Building is currently out of service due to an unrelated mechanical issue. Repairs are expected to be done Wednesday.
