Thank you and farewell to Bradley Cutler!

In just over six years with the CIF, we estimate, Bradley has worked on more than 100 projects, written well over 50 blogs and bulletins and many other initiatives. He's been a vital member of our team and of the Ontario blue box recycling community. What may be news, is that in his off-hours, he's been studying to attain his designation of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and as he nears completion, it's time to begin his practice in the field of CPA.

On Bradley's behalf, we're pleased to announce that he'll soon start a new position as Accounting Specialist with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation in North-Western Ontario. OLG offers him the chance of a lifetime to live in the land of spreadsheets while researching the application of evolving international standards.

In Bradley's words: “My time with the CIF his has been a great learning experience in working on diverse, interesting problems related to operational issues, but also those that reflect the changes we're all seeing and reacting to in global markets – rewarding to be working on solutions to issues we see in the news each day.  Aside from personal and professional growth, I feel most grateful for the time spent meeting and developing lifelong friendships with so many excellent people.

While I'm looking forward to this next opportunity, I'll miss the excitement of receiving and reviewing REOI applications this spring and interacting with so many friendly faces at the May ORW. I'd like to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to all the members of the recycling community I've had the pleasure of working with over these past years.”

Our loss is OLG's gain! We thank Bradley for his hard work and dedication to all things "Blue Box", and his commitment to "Continuous Improvement" in his work with the CIF. We wish you continued success throughout your career Bradley and are grateful for your hard work on behalf of the CIF.

The CIF is in the process of reassigning Brad’s duties. While we have already reached out to many of you, if, in the interim, you are uncertain about who your CIF project contact is or have questions about other activities Brad was handling, please email Dave Faris Yousif at dyousif@thecif.ca.  Additional information will be available on the CIF web site in the coming weeks.
