The history of a school as old as Crofton House is not only a thing of the past, but something that lives constantly through the present. Alumnae form bonds with one another that span lifetimes and even generations. In this edition of the 1898, we have a look at two alumnae whose stories flow outward across their years and others'. We also introduce the school's new alumnae relations officer and highlight some of the resources that are available through the school for reunion planning.
Features
Since graduating from CHS, 1984 class rep Lycia Trouton has travelled the world pursuing her career in the visual arts. This month she shared some of her remarkable journey with us – one that can be traced out through personal history, several continents, and some early work she did as a student at the school.

When Miss Bryan was head of school, many students still had strong connections back to the founding days of Crofton House. The story of Sheila Bell-Irving and her family links all the way back to CHS's beginnings and right into the present.
