A new service starting for the festive season to indulge at home
or treat someone at Christmas.
Our Kitchen has prepared a select range of chutneys, relishes, stollen, breads, biscuits and pre-prepared turkey and stuffing and other delicious home-made products.
You can order your goodies via our website by downloading an order form -
pop it into the bar. Alternatively you can call 01993 833030 to place your order
and pay over the phone - last date for orders is 11th December.

Christmas themed questions to be hosted by the Quiz Master or Mistress!

All our guests will be offered the choice of a
Christmas menu for lunch and dinner, in addition to our normal menus.
For functions and parties of 4 or more guests,
we offer a set menu for all guests in the party.

The Food
We are all looking forward to the festive season at The Nest, in particular the kitchen.
Peter Eaton, our Head Chef, has been busy cooking and sampling dishes for the Christmas and New Year's Eve menus. Local game such as venison, partridge and pheasant are now part of this season's menu.
Our Bar Blackboard Menu features Autumn Supper dishes to tempt you with hearty food for those colder evenings.

The Pint
Mulled Wine will be available at the Bar from the 1st December.
Our Real Ales for November and December are Hobgoblin (4.5% ABV) from local brewers - Wychwood Brewery, Purity's Mad Goose (4.2% ABV) from Warwickshire, and of course old local favorite, Hooky Bitter(3.6% ABV. Peroni and Amstel lagers, extra-cold Guinness and Thatchers Gold Somerset Cider are all available on tap.
To round off your evening, we have a large selection of single malt whiskies, cognacs and armagnacs to enjoy around our fireplace.

'A Little Rest'
After all the festivities at The Nest, we are having a little rest.
Staff will take a well deserved break and The Nest will close from the 2nd January until the 17th January, when the 'Ladies of Westcote' will be joining us for their coffee morning.
The Nest will be open as normal from Tuesday, 17th January 2012.

Many thanks to all those who attended the Christmas Fair at The Nest on 23rd November, both stall holders and customers, enjoyed the festive atmosphere.
Through your kind generosity, £182 was raised in the raffle which will be donated to Church Westcote Village Hall, to help with their refurbishments.
