Formal consultation on stage one is drawing to a close and I’d like to thank everyone who has made a submission or a further submission.
Submissions and further submissions on the stage one chapters have now closed – with a few exceptions. The exceptions are:

Submission number 1194 from Tracey Cook, received on 23 October 2014. Further submissions on this submission closed on 19 November 2014.
- Submission number 1196 from Brain Farrant, received on 5 November and submission number 1197 from William Thomson, received 3 November.
Further submissions on these submissions close on 28 November 2014.
A submission was lodged by the Peebles Group Limited, but was mistakenly published as part of the Peebles Family Trust submission (1078). The Peebles Group Limited submission (1195) is now open for further submission which closes on 28 November.
Any further submissions received on these late submissions will be added to the website at proposeddistrictplan.ccc.govt.nz as soon as possible after submissions close.
The chairperson of the independent hearings panel has sole discretion on whether to accept late submissions. Any more submissions accepted by the chairperson will be publicly notified and added to the website at proposeddistrictplan.ccc.govt.nz.
