December 23 @ 6pm

December 24 @ 3pm, 4:30pm, and 6pm.

No Children's Ministry classes; childcare only for age 5 and younger.

**Please note: No worship service on Saturday, December 21st or Saturday, December 28th.

Urbana Food Bank Christmas Gifts: Tag pick up begins this weekend, November 30/December 1. Stop by the upper lobby and choose a child or family you'd like to bring some Christmas cheer to with a gift. Then, bring back your wrapped gifts or gift bags with attached tags starting the weekend of Dec. 7th & 8th and going through December 14th &15th

Women's Christmas Brunch: Saturday, December 14th, 10:00 am to Noon. Ladies, spaces are filling up fast but there's still room to join us, so click here to register online today. We'll celebrate the start of the Christmas season at Ceresville Mansion with joyful fellowship and a special time of sharing from Kate Humphries. Cost is $25 per person with scholarships available based on need. Invite your friends and family, too.  Deadline to sign up is December 6th. We hope to see you there. Christmas Caroling: Bring Christ to the neighborhoods on December 20th & 21st when we go out to carol, starting at 6:30pm. We could also use some help at our packing party on Tuesday, Decemeber 10th at 6:00pm in the Kidsrock classroom at the church. We'll be putting together goodie bags to be distributed to our neighbors when we go out caroling. All are welcome! Email debbi.minto@mvccfrederick.com to RSVP if you can come.

Operation Christmas Child Update: Between our congregation and MOMs Connect, we collected 834 boxes. Our Missions Committee generously paid to ship 150 of the shoeboxes that were packed this year. Our community dropped off 1804! As a result of both our church family and our community, we had a grand total of 2638 shoeboxes in 163 cartonsPlease continue to pray for the safety of the shoebox as it continues it's journey to that special child God has picked out for it and for the those receiving them.

Children's Ministry Event

MVCC’s Children’s Christmas Program, "Merry Christmas to All”, will be held Saturday, December 7th at two different times: 9:30 or 11:30am. Kids in Lily Pond through 5th Grade will perform several songs. We’ll be wearing pajamas, eating pop-tarts, and proclaiming good news that will bring great joy to all the people!

Campus Prayer Meeting: Join the Campus Prayer 3x3 team to pray for the campus pastor selection, the location, and the timeline as we move towards our first campus launch in 2020.  Sunday, December 15th, from 5-6:30pm in the adult classroom.
