Stoptober success! 28,000 in the North West make quit attempt

Over 28,000 people across the North West joined a quarter of a million people in the UK choosing to turn their back on cigarettes during Stoptober - more than any other region outside London. Thanks and well done to all who played a part in helping so many people take the first step to a smokefree life. Read TFF Chief Executive Andrea Crossfield's thoughts in her new blog here.

Editor's note

Hi  and welcome to your November e-news. A huge well done to everyone involved in Stoptober, it really shows what can be achieved when local, regional and national organisations work together. This autumn we are also happy to support the British Lung Foundation's 'Smoking in Cars' campaign, and as we speak we are developing our own video to highlight the issue.
