1st Grade eNews

Thanks for your donations to the troops.  We appreciate it!

• Bible - The Temple, Glorifying God, Thanksgiving; story of David
• Verse - Psalm 106:1, “Praise the Lord.  Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
• Spelling - Words with -ai (rain, pain, chain, sail, mail, stain)
• Reading & Phonics - Read “Seasons”; long a spelled ai
• Grammar & Writing - Review nouns, adjectives & verbs, complete sentences, practice marking sentences; writing a paragraph; ABC Order
• Math - Math facts, fractions - one half, clocks, 8 addition family

As Northwest Arkansas continues to grow, we want the influence of Christ to grow as well. We need your help to introduce us to like-minded families that want to raise their children in a Christian environment. We want to partner with our current Shiloh parents so you can invite others to join the Shiloh family!

Shiloh parents will receive a $300 check in February 2020 for any student that completes the admission process, is accepted, begins attending, and their account is current as of February 15th. Please contact Alicia Brown at aliciab@shilohsaints.org with questions about admissions or the incentive program!

• November 25-29 - Thanksgiving Break - No School
• December 2 - Students may bring a $1 or more donation for the Teacher Compassion Fund and wear spirit dress.
• December 4 - Class Pictures
• December 5 - All School Christmas Chapel in Worship Center @ 9:15 am 
• December 20 - Christmas Party @ 12:15 - Early Dismissal 1:00 - NO EXTENDED CARE

Please remember to send heavy coats for recess.  Also, in class, students need to have a navy sweater, sweatshirt or jacket.  Thanks!
