Resolutions from the Board of Directors for 2020 AGM
Dear Members, In an email sent to you on October 14th about the process for resolutions for the Annual General Meeting on November 5th we indicated that the Resolutions Committee was drafting resolutions as directed by the Board at the September board meeting. These resolutions are aimed at ensuring the supports are in place for our industry to survive and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. The resolutions are now finalized, and we want to share them with members so that you have an opportunity to review them before the AGM. There are four draft resolutions and each one is linked below.
Please review these draft resolutions before the Annual General Meeting on November 5th. At the AGM the resolutions will be read into the minutes, and all voting members will have an opportunity to vote on whether the membership will approve these resolutions. Once presented to the membership at the Annual General Meeting and approved as a resolution, resolutions become the official position of Northwest Territories Tourism. If you would like to submit a resolution to the Resolutions Committee, remember that the due date is October 29 at 10 a.m. The detailed process of what is required and a link to the resolution form can be found in our previous email, and we are linking that here for your ready reference: http://createsend.com/t/r-F5BEC9E5EE655FCB2540EF23F30FEDED If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me directly. Kindest Regards,
