It’s that time of year again, Christmas is on the horizon and the New Year, with new opportunities awaits.

As the year draws to a close and Christmas looms ever closer, are you ready for the big day? How about this year with your friends and family you try something a little different and give our Christmas Charity Shop Challenge a go?

The Challenge is simple; get the best, funniest or oddest present you can find for your friends and family from your local charity shop.

Taking part is easy, just follow these simple steps:
1) Get your friends and family on board
2) Set a maximum budget - £5 is more than enough
3) Go shopping!
4) Tell everyone you’re taking part using #charityshopchallenge @bsettlement

Before the year comes to an end, we would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to everyone that has supported us over the year. Whether you’ve taken part in an event, made a donation to one of our shops, donated your time, made a financial donation or shared news of our services, your support has been invaluable to us.

2017 looks to be an exciting year for us, with new activities such as theatre, dance and sport on offer and our longstanding provisions including Money Advice, Ageing Well and Job Club set to continue. We look forward to keeping you up to date with all of our Birmingham Settlement news next year.
