St Paul, Minnesota USA — Exhibits Development Group (EDG) Board of Directors announce the appointment of new executives to support international growth in Asia, Middle East and Europe. Brian Gaiser will serve as Vice President of Business Development and Nic Cherry will serve as Director of Touring Operations. “After a 12 month search, we are ecstatic for Brian Gaiser and Nic Cherry to join this outstanding group of professionals at EDG,” Amy Noble Seitz, CEO said. “With these appointments, our ability to manage the current international growth is complete.” Brian Gaiser is recognized for his expertise in leading record-setting revenue generation for companies growing in international markets, particularly Asia, Canada, Middle East, Russia and Latin America. He brings diverse experience in sales, marketing and developing lasting business relationships. A native of Michigan, Brian has worked and lived in Portland, Denver and California and has embraced the culture and outdoor adventures of Minnesota. Brian holds a Masters in International Management and Bachelor of Arts in Russian Studies and International Studies. He and his wife Stacey live in the Bryn Mawr neighborhood of Minneapolis. Nic Cherry will manage the large portfolio of exhibitions that are touring throughout the world. With current exhibitions in China, United States, Canada, Australia and Europe, Nic will bring his operational expertise to EDG, their museum clients and its exhibition partners. A native of Wisconsin, Nic studied Theater directing, stage management, and design at the University of Minnesota, and holds a mini-Masters of Business. He most recently served as Director of Operations for Public Art Saint Paul where he spearheaded many public projects including CREATE: The Community Meal with artist Seitu Jones in 2014 and Wing Young Huie’s The University Avenue Project in 2010. He will manage the touring operations division that includes the movement of high valued art, science, history and popular culture exhibitions, including a growing retail and various operational services that EDG delivers to clients around the world. He and his husband Willie live in St. Paul. EDG engaged MuseumPartners, Austin, TX to assist in filling the position.
