We have had a great time learning about Arkansas!

Next Week

Bible - Our study this week will be on Paul and Barnabas and encouraging others.
Memory Verse - I Thessalonians 5:11, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing.”
Reading - Our story will be “Two of Everything.” Our skill will be character.
Spelling - Words with long vowels a and I (ai, ay, igh, y) aim snail bay braid ray always gain sly chain shy bright fright tray try
Grammar - Possessive Pronouns
Math - We will finish our chapter over geometry and test on Friday (plane shapes, composing and decomposing shapes, solid figures).
SS/Writing - We will finish our unit about Arkansas! We will also make salt maps of Arkansas and bring them home.

April 30 - Last day to earn AR points towards a medal
May 6 - Students may bring a $1 or more donation for the Teacher Compassion Fund and wear spirit dress
May 9 - We will go to the Springdale campus to see the 5th grade musical
May 17 - Teacher Appreciation Day
May 20 - Field Day and water slide, more information to come
May 22 - Last day of school. We will have our awards assembly at 8:15 and dismiss right after. No extended care.
