1095 insurance forms will NOT be required to file taxes
Before the holidays WSU announced 1095 forms, required under the Affordable Care Act, would be sent in January to file your 2015 federal taxes. Last week the IRS announced these forms will not be required to file, but should be maintained with other important tax documentation.
WSU News will publish more on this
topic this week. Communications will reference the 1095 website, which includes a brief video presentation on the topic, as well as FAQs and resource links.
Students can get help filing their FAFSA/WASFA, learn how to write a great scholarship essay and enjoy a slice of pizza this Tuesday and Wednesday at the FAFSA Feed. Students who file the FAFSA late may miss out on important federal and state grants—free money. Encourage students to file the FAFSA by Feb. 1.
