Tropical Cyclone Debbie has battered vegetable crops in the region around Bowen - leaving grocery shoppers in Sydney, Melbourne and elsewhere facing higher prices from next month. As Ian Sinclair writes, it’s time for our highly concentrated network of market gardens to grow more resilient.
