Welcome to ACAPTA’s first ever Circus Remuneration and Other Benefits Surveys.

Our aim is to capture a snapshot of the circus arts and physical theatre industry’s current remuneration position. We will use these results as a way of benchmarking and promoting improved remuneration across our particular sector.

In order to get the most useful and accurate results for analysis, we have prepared two different Surveys, one for individuals who work predominantly as Freelance industry members and one for Organisations.  Click HERE to participate in the survey now.

Congratulations to all of our friends who recently performed as part of the Edinburgh Fringe!

We want to say a huge congratulations to all of our members who killed them at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last month!

While the Dandyman entertained them on the streets [and online], Casus, Gravity and Other Myths, Die Roten Punkte, Briefs, 3 is a Crowd and Circosis all received rave reviews in the theatres. Amongst the sea of 5 and 4 star reviews, many of our friends were also nominated for various awards and with 2,871 shows registered with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, thats not a small feat by any stretch of the imagination!  MORE INFO...

 

Flying Fruit Fly Circus appoints new Artistic Director

The Flying Fruit Fly Circus is delighted to announce the appointment of Jodie Farrugia as new Artistic Director. Jodie will join the circus, famous for training ordinary kids to do extraordinary things, to lead its artistic program.

We would like to say a very warm congratulations to Jodie in her exciting new role!

The Flying Fruit Fly Circus take on Australia's Got Talent

Australia's National Youth Circus is set to show the country what they do and share their passion for circus with a whole new audience. Braving the judges comments, the Fruities have created an original two minute act for the show. 'The Laws of Gravity' is directed by the company's new Artistic Director Jodie Farrugia, with 25 young circus artists. Follow their journey on Sunday nights, 6.30pm on Channel 9.

Join the Performing Older Women’s [POW] Circus

POW Circus is a small community circus for women aged 50 and over and they’re looking for new members in their Acrobalance class.
