Push the Red Button
Is there something really bothering you about your life at UHI? Is there something good you think that more people should know about?
Location: West Highland College, Fort William Campus
About me: I'm a second year student. I'm also Canadian but moved to Scotland because all the sites in my archaeology text books at my previous university were actually in Scotland and I figured it would be a much more exciting place to study... which it is!
My UHI: The WHC campus in Fort William is great because I love kayaking, climbing, and skiing but I enjoy doing my degree as well. Being here makes all that easily available to me. I am also the returning UHISA Student Representative at WHC.
My time: So far everything has been great. I've enjoyed being the Student Rep. despite being the only student on my degree course at the Fort William campus it is a much more fulfilling experience than studying at my prior university of roughly 40,000 students.
My dreams: I would love to work as a curator at the British Museum in London. However, before then I've got a long way to go. I would like to go on to postgraduate education in archaeological practice and just enjoy whatever field work opportunities I can find.
