20th Anniversary Celebration Continues
Our 20th Anniversary celebration rolls onward! Don't miss your shot at having a piece of history with 20th Anniversary pint glasses, stainless steel growlers and t-shirts still available for purchase in our gift shop.
Of course, no beer cellar is complete without a few bottles of our 20th Anniversary Ale aging in it. It's the culmination of Great Basin's craft brewing excellence, delicately folded into one beer comprised of our Icky IPA, Cerveza Chilebeso and Harvest Ale.
Come down and celebrate with us at our Reno or Sparks brewery today!
This is your Moment... Deathwish is Back!
Moment skis are a lot like the beers we brew at Great Basin: handmade in small batches, locally crafted and totally one-of-a-kind. To pay homage to our shared passions we've brewed Moment Deathwish Pale Ale. This brew has an intense amber color with a woody malt flavor and is tricked out with some truly wicked hops.
Deathwish is now in the bottle and available to keep cool at home. A perfect way to celebrate all of those "did I really just do that" moments. Limited edition bottles are available at our Reno and Sparks brewpubs. Get it before it's a goner.
Check out Moment skis here.

What’s your name and how long have you been at Great Basin?
I'm James Garza and I started at Great Basin in September, 2013.
What do you do at Great Basin?
I'm the Kitchen Manager here at Great Basin.
What's your favorite part about your job?
I really enjoy seeing the kitchen crew learn new recipes and cooking techniques. Every day brings with it a new and exciting challenge. It's definitely not the same routine day-in and day-out. I also love hearing the feedback from our customers about new specials we create on the menu.
Tell us about the first memorable craft beer you ever had...
I remember my first "local" beer at the time was Racer 5 IPA by Bear Republic Brewing Company. I was drinking it in Berkeley at Tilden Park Golf Course. Don't ask me what I shot that day.
If you were a Great Basin brew, what brew would you be?
I'd have to say Mayan Maybe Not. I love it because it's very complex but not overwhelming. It's just delicious from start to finish. I also really like that the beer has so much culture and background to it, much like the different cultures I've grown up around that influence my cooking today.
