The summer has come to rather an abrupt end here in the UK,
but fear not there is plenty to keep you moving and grooving
this Autumn/Winter. A huge thanks to everyone who attended
the Brighton Mod Weekend, check out some of the highlights

MODSTOCK
- 50 years of Mod’ in London where it all began.
The four day event over the Easter will showcase all aspects
of Mod music and culture spanning six decades. The Mod scene
is now truly global as this event proved ten years ago when
artists and disciples from all over the World descended on
London for ‘Modstock 40’. Details of the program will be announced
on our network

of the NUTs network first before going on general sale, so

A NUTTY NEW YEAR, LONDON

and celebrate the New Year in style at our
Nutty New Year Ball at 229, the home of Le Beat Bespoke
and Crossfire. We are delighted to welcome back The Beatroots
after their great performance at LBB to conduct midnight mass
celebrations in the beat room. An international DJ line-up
across three rooms with Northern Soul in the ballroom, authentic
Mod club sounds in room 2 and sounds from the underground
in our beat basement. Doors open at 9pm and we party right
through till 6am. Take advantage of the free transport on
London’s bus, tube and trains on New Year’s Eve. Tickets are
£17.50 inc booking fee in advance or £22 on the door. Tickets
for NYE go on sale 23 September from 229thevenue.
