Dear Business Partner,

At Intersolar 2019 in Munich, we present a highlight: As one of the first suppliers on the market, we offer a power plant controller with component certificate according to DIN VDE-AR-N 4110 - the Power Plant Controller (PPC) based on the new blue'Log XC. Be there live at the presentation of the certificate on 15 May at 4 p.m. - we look forward to seeing you!

Get to know the VCOM Cloud at our booth. In addition to monitoring, we will also be offering you a sophisticated CMMS integrated into the VCOM in the future. As a result, you can optimally consolidate all monitoring and service processes on one platform. Our cloud is enhanced by the VCOM Open Interface. This solution has all the interfaces needed to easily import data from the widest range of sources or data loggers to VCOM and access this information via the VCOM API.

You can be curious! Visit us on the Intersolar and come with us into the conversation. We look forward to seeing you at our booth located at B2.231.

blue’Log X-Series: Engineered to succeed

[Graphic: Blue line]

Release: New firmware

The new firmware 9.0.2 is now available for the blue’Log X-Series

Start and stop of inverters
With the new Start/Stop button, all inverters connected to the blue'Log can now be shut down and restarted individually or together. This works on the frontend as well as via the Modbus SCADA interface. Prerequisite: The start/stop function is supported by the inverter.

Your advantage: You can switch off individual devices at any time from a central location and also via remote access if service calls make it necessary.

Accessories: New power quality analyzers

[Graphic: Blue line]

We have expanded our product portfolio to include the two power quality analyzers – UMG 512-PRO and UMG 96RM-EL:

  • UMG 512-PRO
Class A (IEC 61000-4-30) power quality analyzer for the power plant controller (PPC) with high requirements on the monitoring of power quality (PQ).
Please note: The German component certificate based on VDE-AR-N 4110 / 4120 is available only for the PPC with UMG 604-E PRO.

  • UMG 96RM-EL
The lower-priced power quality analyzer with Modbus TCP communication is ideal for zero feed-in with high dynamic needs.
Please note: Zero feed-in requires only a measurement at the grid connection point (GCP). More information about zero feed-in can be found in our white paper.

We support you in selecting the right network analyzer for your project. Find out more on our homepage.

Power plant controller (PPC) with component certification based on VDE-AR-N 4110

[Graphic: Blue line]

All decentralised power generators, such as PV systems, will have to contribute even more to grid stability in the future. Extended grid-friendly system services will be mandatory from 27 April 2019. This will be based on country-specific grid connection regulations such as VDE-AR-N 4110, which will oblige grid operators to do so when EU Regulation 2016/631 ("Determination of a grid code with grid connection provisions for electricity generators" - RfG) comes into force. These system services - including active and reactive power regulation - must be provided by a generation system (EZA) controller with certified electrical properties and functions.

We have had our Park Controller Power Plant Controller (PPC) certified on the basis of the new blue'Log XC. We are one of the first suppliers on the market to offer you a parking controller with component certificate that not only supports national, but also international grid codes and guarantees the smooth approval process for grid connection!

On the first day of Intersolar 2019, the DNV GL Certification Body will officially hand over the component certificate for the EZA controller.

Be there live - on 15 May 2019 at 16:00 at stand B2.231
