REVISION: HOW TO INCREASE YOUR PRODUCTIVITYAs Law students, you will be well acquainted with the ‘R’ word for exam preparation. But could you be more productive? In the current process of becoming a legal professional, it’s likely you'll be taking a few more examinations too. So, with no time like the present, how about applying these tips provided by Dr Loraine Craig, Associate Dean for Imperial College London. Top Revision Tips 1. Set realistic goals. Using online planning software like Trello to create a digital revision plan. Or revert to an old school wall planner. An easy way of managing your time and keeping on track before the big day. 2. Structure your day. Have a clear beginning and end, using your goals to structure your tasks. 3. Pair up with another student to discuss your strengths and weaknesses of module topics (virtually of course). You may find one can help with the other. 4. Take regular breaks, with enough time for a healthy lunch and dinner. 5. Exercise. Even if it’s just for a few minutes per day. It can take great effort, but getting out of your work environment and throwing on your trainers, can help clear your thoughts. 6. Schedule in your recreation. Be that your knitting obsession or Friday night pub quiz; you also need some down time.
