COFFEE WITH A COP
Sponsored by the Juno Beach Police Foundation

Have you been to Coffee With a Cop? It’s a super cool monthly event sponsored by the Juno Beach Police Foundation where community members and Police Officers come together to chat over a cup of coffee. No formal speeches or boring agendas, this is just a fun and relaxed way to get to know each other and talk about any issues the residents may have. Plus, there are some yummy breakfast snacks provided by Gamin's Juno Beach CafĂ©!

Our next gathering is happening on Wednesday, June 7th at 9:30 AM at the Town Center. We'd love to see you there! Come join us for some enjoyable conversation and maybe even a few laughs.

FOURTH OF JULY BREAKFAST
Presenting Sponsor: the Juno Beach Police Foundation

We are excited to remind you about the Annual Civic Association Fourth of July breakfast, for which the Juno Beach Police Foundation is the presenting sponsor. The event will be held on Tuesday, July 4th at the Oceanview United Methodist Church on Ocean Drive in Juno Beach.

This is a great opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate our country's independence. The event includes a delicious breakfast, live music, a guest speaker and an opportunity to commemorate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.

We also remind you that there is no charge for members of the Civic Association and $5.00 for non-members and guests of members. To make a reservation, please call Ms. Jeri Glynn at (772) 321-7117.

We hope to see you there!

LICENSE PLATE RECOGNITION (LPR) CAMERAS
Funded by the Juno Beach Police Foundation

Police Chief Smith tells us that the recently implemented automated license plate readers are continuing to help fight crime in Juno Beach. These high-speed cameras quickly capture photographs of license plate numbers and cross-referenced them to "hotlists" maintained by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), as well as plates associated AMBER Alerts or SILVER Alerts. As a result numerous traffic stops, arrests, and citations are being recorded.

The new Juno Beach cameras are located on each of the north and south entryways to the Town on US Highway 1 and a third camera will soon to be installed on the Donald Ross bridge. These cameras complement two cameras already installed on Ocean Drive.

Thanks to this technology, our law enforcement Officers can be more efficient and significantly more accurate when fighting crime.

Overall, the ALPR program has been a resounding success for the Town and the Juno Beach Police Foundation is pleased to have been able to provide the funding for these valuable tools.
