Lambton County Virtual Farm Tour

A video conference with local dignitaries was held February 11, 2021:

In this 8 minute video, Bradey Couwenberg of Wanstead Farmers Co-operative, Chuck & Justin Baresich from Haggerty Creek Ltd., and Bill Gordon and family of Gordon’s Roxburgh Farms, Inc Dairy Farm talk about Technology in Agriculture and how it affects precision farming and helps with sustainability, and labour challenges.

Celebrate Canada’s Ag Day with our ‘Burger Challenge’

Canada’s Agriculture Day is fast approaching and we have cooked up a delicious challenge to celebrate the growers and producers that move food from field to fork.

In partnership with commodity groups, OFA has developed a “Burger Challenge” that challenges our members, partners and fellow stakeholders to source as many local ingredients as possible for their burger creations.

Propane supply across Ontario and Quebec at risk if Enbridge Line 5 pipeline shut down.

With memories still fresh of propane shortages suffered during a 2019 railway strike, members of the Lambton County Federation of Agriculture added their voices to those calling on governments in Canada to work to keep Enbridge’s Line 5 pipeline operating.
