Always looking on the brighter side of life, the prolonged rain is helping our gardens burst into life and will hopefully see off the intended drought!
After a busy Easter holiday season, we look forward to 'Summer' and, 'cross fingers', the sun will shine and we can take advantage of the views from our terrace.

South African Wine Tasting Lunch
Tuesday, 15 May
Paul Cluver from South Africa will be showcasing his collection of superior wines, exclusively to our guests. Our Chef has produced a tantalising Menu to compliment the wine selection.

Your choice cut of South Devon Beef (view menu), served with skinny chips,

Tuesday, 5 June
We celebrate this glorious occasion with cream tea and cakes from 3pm to 5pm.
A live harpist will be soothing away this special afternoon. £10.50 per person.

Olympic Torch Relay
23 May, 1 and 9 July
The Olympic Flame will be travelling through Stroud, Cirencester and Cheltenham
on its way through to Gloucester on the 23rd May;
Broadway, Chipping Campden and Stratford-Upon-Avon on 1st July;
and Woodstock, Bicester and Oxford on 9th July.

Royal Ascot Week
Tuesday, 19 to Saturday, 23 June
During Royal Ascot Week, The Feathered Nest will be screening all races
during the day and highlights during the evening.
Royal Ascot is one of the pinnacle events of the summer social season and the racecourse will be playing its part, in this historic year, in celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The Food
Head Chef Kuba is cooking up some fantastic dishes this season - including Suckling Pig, Spring Lamb with wild garlic, Brill, Bream, Asparagus and fresh Lobster, and to finish - a gorgeous selection of desserts and fine cheeses.

Stroud's Organic Ale (4.0% ABV), Ringwood's Old Thumper (5.6% ABV), and Severn Vale's Dursley Steam Bitter (4.2% ABV) are our current Real Ale selection,
with Boondoggle and UBU coming in soon.
Peroni and Amstel lagers, extra-cold Guinness and Thatchers Gold Somerset Cider available on tap.
The Pillow
Queens Diamond Jubilee holiday guests staying overnight on Tuesday, 5th of June, will be offered complimentary Afternoon Tea on Tuesday with live music.
