2017/18 Annual Service Evaluation

WYCAS is always keen to receive the views of our service users to learn where we have done well and also where we could have done better.   We would like your assistance in evaluating the impact of our work. Your comments and feedback are essential in helping us to ensure that our services continue to be in line, and develop with your needs.  If our support has been helpful any feedback you feel able to give which shows the value and impact our work has had on your organisation is also extremely useful.  If we have worked with you during 2017/18 you will have received a short survey to ask for your views about the service we gave you.

The law is changing - new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) will be here soon

One of the areas that these regulations cover is consent for data to be processed for one or more specific purposes, for example receiving marketing information.

We have taken the decision to re-establish consent to receive our marketing information and so we will be sending you an email inviting you to give that positive consent shortly so please look out for that – we will lose touch with you without that consent.

New partnership to support Calderdale’s voluntary groups

Voluntary and community sector organisations in Calderdale can now access a range of support services from a single place.  WYCAS have come together with five other organisations to form Calderdale’s Voluntary Sector Alliance, which will offer advice, training and a range of other support services through a single point of contact.

The partnership is designed to give voluntary and community groups in Calderdale access to services and resources that will support their work with local people, and also help them to build the capacity required to develop further.  Helen Galvin our Community Accountant for Calderdale will be pleased to support groups in the district.
