Weekly Climate Strikes in Huntsville & Bracebridge

Join us tomorrow for our weekly climate strikes in Huntsville and Bracebridge; Fridays from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. In Huntsville near the Town Hall at 37 Main Street East, and in Bracebridge at Memorial Park. Did you know that we're coming up on the one-year anniversary of our Fridays for Future climate strikes? This picture was taken September 20, 2019, in Huntsville. While we had to take a break from physically striking for a couple of months due to COVID this spring, we kept going with digital and pop-up strikes. We proudly look forward to celebrating this important anniversary. Anything and everything you're able to do to continue to raise awareness about the urgency of climate action helps! Permaculture Gardening on Muskoka Drawdown

The podcast for episode six of Muskoka Drawdown, Climate Action Muskoka's monthly radio show and podcast for Hunters Bay Radio, is now available online. Permaculture is the application of holistic, sustainable principles and practices. We talk about how you can apply these to what we in Muskoka can grow in our own back yards, and how we grow it. Our guests are Bet Smith and Tricia Bilissis. Tricia and Bet are pictured above in Tricia's Permaculture Garden for the Community in Bracebridge, just behind Northern Produce.
