We would love to hear from you. Training orgnaisation of the monthMaster Plumbers New ZealandManaging both your recurring courses and events is something the Arlo team know well. Master Plumbers provide recurring courses and events across multiple regions in New Zealand, and are using Arlo to manage this large operation. Master Plumbers are using website categories to keep their training courses and events separated online. Using Arlo’s recently developed JavaScript web control technology, the Arlo web team implemented web controls into six different areas of their website. This included homepage widgets, a training catalogue, a training and events calendar, an upcoming events list, a training products list, and upcoming event lists for each of Master Plumbers regions in New Zealand. The web controls were styled and formatted to fit with the existing Master Plumbers website. Master Plumbers offer training and events to plumbers, gasfitters and drainlayers with a focus on representing and adding value to their members in the plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying industry. In accordance with Master Plumbers goals of quality, professionalism, innovation they will soon also be offering self-paced online courses using Arlo’s Moodle integration. Highlighted featuresChoose when to open and close registrationsYou can set the date and time an events registrations opens and closes on your website automatically. You can also apply a custom message to be displayed with the event on your website outside of this period. This is perfect for managing events where you do not want to open registrations until a later date, or when last minute registrations can cause problems. Choose when an event is displayed or hiddenSet when an event should be published and hidden from your website automatically. This no longer has to be done manually. How can I receive notifications for any new orders that come through our website? Arlo allows administrators to add or edit the email addresses that will receive notification when any new order is submitted from your website. Administrators can also be CC'd into all order related communication sent. Learn more about email notifications for orders. What checkout options are available and how do I change it? Arlo offers three checkout page options, the Starter Template Checkout, the Basic Checkout and the Skinned Checkout. If you are integrating Arlo into your website using the Arlo WordPress plugin, JavaScript web controls or API, Arlo will provide you with a complementary basic checkout. If you are using the Arlo starter template you can only use the starter template checkout. Please contact the Arlo support team if you would like to upgrade or change your Arlo checkout option. How do I set up certificates in Arlo? Arlo allows you to create and send printable certificates with optional fields for information such as course information and grades. Every Arlo platform comes loaded with 4 default certificate templates which you can edit, delete, or use. If you would like to, you can also create your certificate templates. I have a course that stretches across a number of weeks with the sessions on the same day each week. Is there a quick way to schedule the sessions for this? Yes. If you have a multi-session event or course (where registrants attend all sessions) you can set up the sessions using the ‘Add recurring sessions’ functionality in Arlo. Once the days and frequency of recursions are set, Arlo will automatically create the sessions on your event.
