Kindergarten eNews

Thank you for helping out with show and tell this week as we learn about tools a farmer uses.  We all enjoy teaching this farm unit.  It is fun to see them learn about where our food comes from.  We will continue the farm unit next week, too.

Next Week

  • Show and Tell:  Bring a product from the farm—something grown or raised.  Be able to tell us how it’s grown or something the animal gives us.  It can be real, a toy but not a picture.
  • Bible verse:  Ephesians 6:1 “Children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.”
  • Bible story:  Isaac and Rebekah
  • Reading:  The two letters for next week will be Hh and Tt.  The sight words this week were has, is, at.  Next week’s sight words will be had, got, no.  Read to your child at night.  It helps with concepts of print and comprehension.  It’s also a good bonding time.
  • Math:  Learning to write the numbers 8 through 10 and ordinal numbers.  We review previously learn skills as well.
