Smart Futures Explores Science Careers

Choosing subjects to study in school and courses to do at third level can be tricky. Figuring out what career you want to do can be overwhelming. Smart Futures want to help second-level students discover the exciting range of possibilities in a STEM career.

For the remainder of the school year, a free live #ThisIsSTEM Webinar will be available to all schools to give students the opportunity to discover what types of STEM careers are available and hear from people who work in STEM-related jobs in Ireland.

This month we are exploring science. In April we will focus on all things Tech, and finally concluding with how Maths can be a key to many STEM career doors in May.

There will also be a chance to win a pair of APPLE AIRPODS each month too!

#ThisIsSTEM Live Webinar Series

On Friday, March 26th at 11 am we will be hosting a virtual career talk with Ciaran Egan. Ciaran works with Abbott as a Professional Development Programme Graduate working as QC Project Manager in Abbott Nutritional Division in Cootehill. The QC Project Team manage quality projects for the site with a focus on Lab testing equipment and testing methods.

Ciaran looks forward to chatting with students and answering their questions to further their understanding of the industry.

The webinar will be streamed via YouTube.
