Kindergarten eNews
Kindergarten is 100 days smarter, can count to 100 by 10s, can find 100 things, especially Hershey kisses, and can do so much more. We have learned about weather and will continue learning more about the weather this week. One thing we know for sure….the weather is cold outside.
Next Week
-
Unit Study: We will continue to learn about weather and the water cycle.
-
Show and Tell: Bring a picture of a compound word (sidewalk, doghouse, sunset, etc.); the picture may come from anything like a drawing, cut from a magazine, photograph, etc.
-
Bible: We will continue studying Christ’s life and ministry.
-
Bible Verse: “We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19
-
Reading: We will learn the “ff-ll-ss-zz” (floss) rule for doubling ending consonants, learn new sight words, and continue guided readers.
-
Math: We will continue learning about numbers up to 100 and begin learning strategies for subtraction.
