The Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) encourages everyone to get out to vote. Local elections often have low turnout but direct impacts on our lives and neighborhoods. It is critical to make our community's voice heard. Important Election Dates and Resources:
CPC can help you register to vote, request an absentee ballot, find your poll site, learn about what is on the ballot, and make a plan to vote with confidence! Just ask any CPC staff member or contact Caroline Scown from our Policy Team at cscown@cpc-nyc.org. CPC has been hard at work making sure that our Chinese-American, immigrant, and low-income communities are educated and empowered to vote. So far, our election workshops have reached 130 voters, and there's still more work to do! CPC staff members and Youth Advocates also attended the CACF Mayoral Forum to hear from candidates about how they would support AAPI communities as Mayor. In this pivotal city election, it is important that we choose representatives who will stand up for all New Yorkers.
