Massey partners with Huawei to replace existing network hardware with more than 2,000 new network components to bring faster and wider wireless network coverage and improved network speeds to support teaching and learning services. How this affects youServices such as network and wireless Internet access, printing, and shared drives may be unavailable in select areas during off-peak hours as components are replaced. Once the new network components are installed, there will be no changes in the way staff connect to these services. Staff will be advised of any upcoming schedule of work affecting their area. Information Technology Services (ITS) will coordinate with colleges and departments for the service schedule to minimise disruption to critical services. OneMassey is changing soonOneMassey, the University Intranet for staff information and services, will be upgraded to SharePoint Online, bringing in new features and a different look to the Intranet pages in the coming months. From May 2018, staff may start seeing the new look in some of the Team, Project, Community, and Committee sites. Staff can continue browsing OneMassey at https://one.massey.ac.nz to access Intranet content and Teams, Projects, Community, and Committee pages for the meantime. Eventually, a new Intranet link will be displayed on the front page of OneMassey where the new site can be accessed once the upgrade is completed. Register your SPSS work-at-home requirements for Semester 2IBM provides a limited number of work-at-home licences for IBM SPSS Statistics to Massey students and faculty members every year. To manage the pool of licences for 2018, staff were requested to register their paper with the Service Desk in October last year. If you are teaching a distance paper in Semester 2 that requires the use of SPSS, please register your requirements using the button below by Friday 15 June. Staff who have filled out the form previously will be contacted by the Service Desk prior to the start of Semester 2.
