Artswork: South East Bridge enews
April 2017

Editorial

Welcome to the latest edition of the South East Bridge enews

This month, we speak to Fluid Motion Theatre about their experience of supporting schools through Artsmark; we share artist call outs and funding opportunities across the South East, and hear from Turner Contemporary in Kent, who recently worked on a scheme linking their work experience offer with Arts Award Bronze - to great success.

We would love to hear from you as an education setting or arts and cultural organisation in our region, so please contact us via info@artswork.org.uk if you have a story to share of your successes providing a creative and cultural education to children and young people.

And don't forget, tickets for our 2017 conference, Creativity & Life Chances, are now available at an exclusive Early Bird rate - get yours while they last! See links below for more information about the day and how to pick up your ticket.

With a wealth of free resources at your fingertips via the Artswork website, all you need to do is register for unlimited access. If you tick the box to register as an ENYAN member as part of this, you will also receive discounts rates on a selection of our Artsplan professional development courses.

Wishing you all a spring in your step over the coming month,

Jane Bryant

"Linking our Work Experience programme with Arts Award Bronze was a great success" | Guest blog from Turner Contemporary's Jennifer Scott

"With support from Artswork, we recently piloted a new work experience scheme at Turner Contemporary that is structured around Bronze Arts Award. We piloted the scheme with two students from King Ethelbert School, who used the Bronze Log Book we designed to work specifically in a gallery setting. Each component of the Award provided a brilliant way for the students to get a really valuable overview of the different departments within the gallery."
