We have learned a lot about spiders and insects this week – be sure and ask your child all about it!

Next Week

Bible – We will be studying in Numbers 12 about respect for authority, while we continue our study of Moses. This Friday, we will listen to all Ten Commandments. The students are doing great with their memorization!
Reading – Story Structure: Teacher’s Pet
Spelling – We will be working on consonant blends with r, l, & s - spin clap grade swim place last test skin drag glide just stage slip drive climb price
Grammar – Singular and plural nouns
Math – We will start a new chapter on place value. We will focus this week on even/odd numbers, expanded form, one more/less, 10 more/less, and patterns.
Science - We will study the parts of a spider and create one using marshmallows and pretzels.

October 15th - NO SCHOOL for students! Parent/Teacher Conferences from 7:45am - 5:30pm.
